Advanced Computer Technology (ACT), one of Egypt’s longest-established and largest providers of information technology and cybersecurity solutions, has announced that it has officially received accreditation from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) as a certified cybersecurity services provider in the Egyptian market.

This milestone reflects the company’s strong technical capabilities and commitment to the highest standards of quality, governance, and regulatory compliance, while supporting Egypt’s national efforts to strengthen cybersecurity and safeguard its digital infrastructure.

The accreditation marks another significant achievement in ACT’s journey since its establishment in 1988. Over more than three decades, the company has built an extensive track record in information technology, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, backed by continuous investments in technical talent, innovation, and internationally recognized best practices. Today, ACT serves as a trusted strategic technology partner for both public and private sector organizations pursuing secure digital transformation.

Under this accreditation, ACT is now officially authorized to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of advanced cybersecurity services, including:
Penetration Testing: Simulating real-world cyberattacks to identify vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications before they can be exploited by malicious actors, enabling organizations to strengthen their security posture and reduce cyber risks.

Red Teaming: Conducting sophisticated end-to-end attack simulations that assess an organization’s overall cyber resilience by evaluating not only technical defenses but also operational processes and human response capabilities.

Vulnerability Assessment: Performing comprehensive and periodic assessments of IT environments to identify security weaknesses, allowing organizations to proactively remediate risks and enhance the resilience of their digital infrastructure.

The company emphasized that this accreditation further strengthens its cybersecurity portfolio and demonstrates its readiness to deliver officially licensed, enterprise-grade security services that address the growing demand for robust cyber defense amid increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

Commenting on the achievement, Mohamed Abou El Leil, General Manager of the ICT Business Unit at ACT, said that the company’s official accreditation by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) marks another significant milestone, reflecting confidence in ACT’s technical capabilities and reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the highest standards of quality, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

He also commended the company’s highly skilled technical team for their exceptional dedication and tireless efforts in securing this accreditation, emphasizing that their professionalism and commitment were instrumental in achieving this important milestone.

He added:
“We view this accreditation not as the finish line, but as the beginning of a new phase of growth. ACT will continue investing in developing its technical capabilities, strengthening its human capital, and obtaining additional international certifications and accreditations to further reinforce our leadership in Egypt’s and the region’s cybersecurity market.”

Abou El Leil also noted that ACT is expanding its cybersecurity offerings to address the evolving requirements of critical sectors, including banking and financial services, energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, and large enterprises, by delivering advanced security solutions that enhance digital resilience, support regulatory compliance, and improve organizations’ readiness to respond to emerging cyber threats.

The accreditation comes at a time when Egypt is witnessing rapid acceleration in digital transformation initiatives, alongside increasing adoption of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital services across industries. These developments have significantly elevated the importance of cybersecurity as a fundamental pillar for ensuring business continuity, protecting sensitive data, and maintaining trust in the digital economy.

ACT reaffirmed that obtaining NTRA accreditation further strengthens its role as an integrated technology and cybersecurity partner, enabling the company to provide solutions that comply with both national and international cybersecurity standards. The achievement also aligns with Egypt’s vision of building a secure, resilient, and sustainable digital economy while supporting organizations throughout their digital transformation journey.
