In a move reflecting the accelerating modernization of Egypt’s industrial sector, Teradix, a leading Egyptian SaaS provider of digital procurement and sourcing solutions, announced a strategic partnership with Rich Bake, one of Egypt’s largest bakery manufacturing groups, to expand an initial procurement digitization deployment into a multi-phase, long-term transformation program across Rich Bake’s sourcing operations.
Building on early success within Rich Bake’s procurement function, the program will scale standardized sourcing workflows, supplier engagement, governance controls, and performance visibility enabling faster decision-making and greater transparency across stakeholder teams.
Procurement as a Strategic Growth Enabler
As Rich Bake continues to expand its manufacturing footprint and distribution capabilities, procurement has emerged as a core lever for efficiency, cost discipline, and operational resilience.
“Rich Bake is going through a continuous growth and transformation journey,” said Gilbert Hobeika, CEO of Rich Bake. “To support that growth, we needed our internal systems, especially procurement, to evolve with the market. Partnering with Teradix enabled us to build transparency, speed, and structure into our sourcing activities in a way that directly supports our strategic objectives.”
The initiative signals a broader shift within Egypt’s manufacturing landscape, where enterprises are increasingly digitizing core operational functions to strengthen competitiveness and governance.
From Digitalization to Operational Discipline
The program is designed to drive operational change, not merely tool adoption, by aligning workflows, governance frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration around a unified sourcing model.
Teradix will support Rich Bake across key sourcing workflows including RFQs, online and reverse auctions, structured supplier engagement, and performance visibility within a unified platform that enables consistent execution across sites and teams.
“What we were looking for was not just automation, but transparency and control across every procurement step,” said Loaay Aly, Supply Chain Director at Rich Bake. “Teradix combined technology with hands-on support and change management made it possible to manage complexity across multiple factories and stakeholders while keeping speed and efficiency high.”
A Partnership Focused on Measurable Impact
Teradix’s approach centers on building scalable procurement operating practices through close collaboration with leadership, procurement, supply chain, and technical stakeholders driving adoption, governance discipline, and measurable outcomes over time.
“Our goal is never to simply deploy a system” said Khaled Aboshady, CEO of Teradix. “ We partner with our clients across the full transformation journey, from people and processes to data and technology. With Rich Bake, we are building a long-term partnership that turns digital procurement from ideas on paper into tangible, measurable business results.”
Program Focus and Expected Outcomes
Through the Teradix platform and associated transformation roadmap, Rich Bake aims to strengthen its sourcing organization by increasing transparency across supplier interactions, accelerating sourcing cycles through standardized workflows, enhancing competitiveness in negotiated events—including reverse auctions—and improving visibility into performance and savings opportunities through structured reporting.
The initiative also establishes a scalable foundation for future capabilities such as AI-enabled supplier discovery and sourcing optimization, while fostering more structured and auditable supplier participation.
Roadmap: Building a Foundation for Future Innovation
Future phases of the partnership roadmap may include advanced sourcing automation, AI-driven supplier discovery, and additional innovation use cases such as surplus inventory monetization and expanded supplier collaboration framework.
The roadmap reflects Teradix’s broader vision to deliver locally built, globally competitive procurement technology tailored to enterprise needs in Egypt and the wider region—supporting the continued evolution of digitally enabled industrial operations.
